BARBARA L. JOHNSON is the Founder of BLJohnsonLaw, PLLC and Counsel with Potter & Murdock, PC, and is based in Washington, DC.  She has over 30 years of experience in representing a wide array of employers, ranging from Global 50 companies and publicly-traded companies to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions to manufacturers. Barbara has practiced law with a major corporation, a global AmLaw 100 law firm, and a minority-owned litigation boutique. 

Barbara advises employers on the full gamut of workplace issues, including discrimination and wage and hour matters; conducts workplace investigations; litigates and serves as trial counsel for employment disputes; and serves an arbitrator and mediator. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Association College of Labor & Employment Lawyers and a member of several professional organizations.  

She is licensed to practice law in Michigan, Texas, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
