Summary

As an employment law and labor relations attorney, my practice focuses on tackling the full scope of legal issues that accompany the employment relationship. I have particular experience defending public and private employers in litigation before state and federal courts against claims involving illegal harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage-and-hour disputes.
I also have experience defending employers in administrative agency proceedings and alternative forms of conflict resolution, in addition to traditional labor law experience. I have represented employers during union elections, in arbitration proceedings, and in unfair-labor-practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board. I regularly counsel employers on a range of labor and employment topics, including independent-contractor status, minimum-wage compliance, covenants not to compete, employee termination, employment discrimination, union avoidance, and collective bargaining issues.
